Tesla's cameras-only autonomous driving system drives through mannequin

<p>Tesla bets entirely on Cameras and AI as it pursues the goal of fully autonomous driving. Elon Musk touted a system built around eight &#39;surround&#39; cameras that feed data to the vehicle&#39;s deep neural network, according to Tesla&#39;s Website. At CES, Luminar Technologies demonstrated two autos moving at 30MPH towards the silhouette of a child. The car utilising Luminar&#39;s laser-based system stopped in advance while Telsa&#39;s car drove through the child&#39;s mannequin.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
