US researchers use AI to develop powerful new antibiotic

<p>Researchers in the US have successfully used AI to identify a new antibiotic having the ability to kill many drug-resistant bacteria. The effectiveness of antibiotics has witnessed a south trend in recent past as its overuse has led to the birth of resistance in bacteria.&nbsp;MIT and Harvard scientists trained a machine-learning algorithm to analyze chemicals having the ability to fight infections using various mechanisms than those of present medicines.</p>
