4 Malaysian Firms To Take Stakes In Govt's 5G Agency
<p>Four telecom firms from Malaysia agreed to take stakes in the govt's 5G agency. This was declared after months of delayed talks between the firms and the government. Originally started with 6 companies, Maxis Bhd and U Mobile dropped out of negotiations in August. The remaining Celcom Axiata, DiGi Telecommunications, YTL Communications, and Telekom Malaysia have agreed to take a total of 65% equity in the agency, while the government agreed to take the remaining 35%.</p>
