5G development in final stages, 6G in thought process, says Union Minister of IT

<p>Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, said that India is almost finished with the development of the 5G network. He added that they will also be taking an active part in the development of the 6G network and are in the thought process of 6G standards. The government has already announced that auctions of the 5G spectrum will be taking place sometime later this year. The government also expects TRAI to send its own recommendations concerning the auction.</p>
