70% of world's population will have access to internet by 2026: Omdia

<p>70% of the global population will be connected to the internet by 2026, up from 58% in 2021, according to market research firm Omdia. The report further stated that out of the 70%, 30% of the population will have access to the internet via a mobile device, while 40% will have a fixed broadband connection at home. Singapore continued to lead Omdia&#39;s Fiber Development Index in 2021, followed by South Korea, the UAE, China, and Qatar, according to the report.</p>
