AIIMS server hack: Cyberterrorism and Extortion Cases Filed

<p>The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) servers have been down for the sixth day in a row, most likely due to a security breach. According to the police, the IFSO, Special Cell has lodged a FIR under Section 385 IPC for extortion and Section 66/66F IT Act for cyber terrorism based on a report submitted by AIIMS personnel. The origins of the ransomware are likewise unknown, according to police. Most likely, the hackers will be from China or North Korea.</p>
