AMD RDNA 3-based GPUs could feature up to 7 chiplets

<p>Greymon55, a reliable leaker, has reported that AMD is returning to chiplet design for its RDNA 3 GPU architecture. AMD last used chiplet design in the Vega architecture used in the Vega56/64 GPU which were relatively unsuccessful as indicated by AMD using monolithic design for RX 5000 and RX 6000 series GPUs. Greymon55 has said that AMD might use as many as seven chiplets and it is already known that AMD is going to partner with TSMC for manufacturing these GPUs.</p>
