Apple helped suppliers to more than double green energy usage

<p>Apple has announced today that its suppliers have more than doubled their clean power over the past year and they have supported green energy projects which have prevented 13.9M metric tons of CO2 from being emitted. This aligns with Apple&rsquo;s plan of having zero carbon footprint by 2030. Apple&rsquo;s step to slashing emissions from its supply chains will be a great boost for the company as these indirect emissions contribute to most of its carbon footprint.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
