Bandai Namco combines Esports, Web3, Gunpla for its Gundam Metaverse Project

<p>Bandai Namco has announced major investments into its &ldquo;metaverse&rdquo; dream which the company is calling &ldquo;Gundam Metaverse Project&rdquo;. The company is planning to lay out virtual communities for specific areas like games, anime, music and Gundam Model Building (Gunpla). These communities will be connected together via a space hub called SIDE-G. While the first colonies will be centered around Gunpla, the company has also planned an esports themed colony for 2023.</p>
