Budget 2022 encourages use of drones in Agriculture, other sectors

<p>Drones can now be used in a variety of industries, including agriculture, thanks to provisions in the Union Budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that the use of &#39;kisan drones&#39; for crop assessment, land record digitisation, insecticide spraying, and nutrient spraying will be encouraged. Startups will be encouraged to spread &#39;drone shakti&#39; through a variety of applications and drone-as-a-service offerings (DrAAS).</p>
