China is a leader in 5G smartphones market: Canalys

<p>With the 5G revolution going ahead full throttle, China is leading from the front with network deployment and handset availability. Canalys reported that 278M 5G smartphones are expected to be sold in the world and 62% of them, i.e. 172M, will be sold in the Greater China market. Only Samsung is a non-Chinese firm that is launching 5G devices now. Even if Huawei unable to deliver, the 5G smartphone space will be filled by Xiaomi, Oppo and TCL.</p>
