Chrome OS finally gets an alpha version of Steam

<p>An alpha version of the popular gaming marketplace, Steam, is now available for select members for testing, Google has announced. John Maletis, Chrome OS VP, said that it is still early days for this software on Chromebooks and he is excited to see the Steam experience on the OS. Google said that this alpha test is available for a small number of recently released chromebooks. The company added that the OS will run the linux version of the game.</p>
