CIO role: Tips to get along better with the CFO

<p>Present all IT projects with an ROI. If a project has a negative ROI, present the risks associated. Use agile approaches where possible. CFO will appreciate if CIOs can do everything to reasonably control risk. Speak in the language of finance and capitalize on digital finance projects to build trust. Be ready and willing to educate and practice empathy, but don&rsquo;t be afraid to disagree.</p>
