Data Regulation To Be Included in New Digital India Act, According to IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekh

<p>The government plans to incorporate data regulation rules in a new Digital India Act, according to Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and IT. Chandrasekhar stated at a Foreign Correspondent Club event on 5G that the recently released draught of Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) focuses on the protection of data of Indian individuals.&nbsp;The government has produced a draft of a new data protection bill.</p>
