Facebook suspends thousands of apps after the probe initiated after Cambridge Analytica Scandal

<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Facebook has suspended tens of thousands of apps on its social media platform as a part of an investigation initiated in March 2018 in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica data scandal. The investigation revealed that this scandal has retrieved the information of an estimated 87 million Facebook users without their permission. The suspended apps are associated with about 400 developers. This came after Facebook was fined $5 billion by US FTC over its privacy scandals.</span></span></span></p>
