Global chipmakers looking for new plant locations in India

<p>Several of the world&#39;s largest chipmakers are exploring locations in India for new operations in order to expand production outside their home bases. Firms in South Korea are investing tens of billions of dollars each year to boost their output capacity, and India is in talks with some of the industry&#39;s giants to bring them into the nation. Their expansion comes at a time when countries all over the world are investing more money to secure indigenous chip production.</p>
