Google Messages Users Can Now React With Any Emoji

<p>Google has started allowing some users of its Messages app to respond to text messages with any emoji, rather than the normal selection of seven that has been available in the programme for some time. The feature is similar to that of other messaging systems such as Slack, WhatsApp, and commercial versions of Telegram - touching and holding on a message displays the normal emoji reactions, but you can then access the picker to respond with whatever you like.</p>
