Google's Client-Side Encryption For Gmail Enters Beta

<p>Google has launched a beta of its client-side encryption for Gmail. Workspace administrators can sign up for the beta until January 20th. The feature will be added to its Gmail app for Android and iOS "in an upcoming release" Google says it's not limited to intra-office communications. The feature was added to Drive last year, and it's also in beta for Calendar. Right now, the beta is limited to Google Workspace Enterprise Plus and Education Plus customers.</p>
