IAMAI Advises Government to Keep Content and Broadcasting Out of 'Telecom Services.'
<p>The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has advised the government to exempt OTT (Over-the-top) and DTH (Direct To Home) services from the Telecommunications Bill, 2022 according to Economic Times. This was mentioned by internet and social media businesses in their comments on the draught bill submitted under IAMAI's umbrella. The Department of Telecommunication has extended the deadline for comments and suggestions to November 20.</p>
