India plans to enter global chip markets with homegrown tech

<p>India is creating its own roadmap to produce chips and join a competitive Asian league using domestic manufacturing resources and expertise. Through a number of policy initiatives, the United States seems to be on the verge of rediscovering its edge in the production of better semiconductors. India, meanwhile, has resurrected a ten-year-old effort to court chip producers, starting with a $10B incentive package for the industry.</p>
