India’s 5G rollout could hit rough weather due to aircraft interference concerns

<p>India has begun deploying 5G, and by 2023, it aims to connect every municipality. Following a concern expressed by the Aviation Authority, New Delhi last week issued a directive to telecos asking them to refrain from installing 5G infra near airports. Airtel and Jio have already installed the necessary 5G infrastructure at four airports nationwide, but they still need to reassess their strategy. New Delhi's Aerocity or Mumbai's Santacruz may not be able to now get 5G.<br /> </p>
