India's First Private Rocket To Be Launched Soon By Spaceflight Startup Skyroot

<p>Skyroot Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based commercial space firm, plans to launch India&#39;s first private rocket from the Indian Space Research Organisation&#39;s (ISRO) Sriharikota launchpad between November 12 and 16. Since the union government opened up the space sector for private industry engagement in June 2020, the rocket &mdash; called Vikram-S &mdash; will be the nation&#39;s first space launch vehicle constructed and controlled exclusively by a commercial enterprise.</p>
