MeitY’s latest draft aims to make all data shareable and open between ministries

<p>MeitY has shared a draft which will force all central and state ministries to share all data and maintain a common shareable database. The proposed data policy calls for the establishment of the India Data Office, or IDO, which will standardize and unify public data access and sharing among government and other stakeholders. The document proposes the idea of “enhancing access, quality and use of data” to meet with today’s technology demands.</p>
