Meta introduces new way to log in through virtual reality

<p>Meta Platforms Inc. is changing how customers enter into its virtual reality headsets. It does by reversing a previous shift that mandated Facebook accounts on the devices while maintaining linkages to social relationships there. Beginning in August, the business will begin rolling out its new &quot;Meta accounts.&quot; The social media juggernaut revealed plans to do away with the need for a Facebook login last year.</p>
