Meta, Microsoft, others to group together for development of Metaverse

<p>In order to promote the creation of industry standards that would make the firms&#39; developing digital worlds compatible with one another, Meta, Microsoft, and other tech monoliths vying to build the metaverse concept have formed a group. Many of the largest corporations active in the field, from chip makers to gaming companies, as well as well-known standards-setting bodies like the World Wide Web Consortium, are participants in the Metaverse Standards Forum.</p>
