Meta’s first AR glasses dubbed “Project Nazare” to release in 2024
<p>The parent company of Facebook, Meta is reportedly planning to release its first AR glasses by 2024. The glasses are being called Project Nazare and a cheaper version called “Hypernova” is also being developed. The company has also planned advanced releases for 2026 and 2028. Project Nazare will aim for an independent design by including a “phone-shaped device” that will offload some computing parts away from the glasses by leveraging short-range data streaming tech.<br /> </p>
