MIT’s tiny artificial brain chip could bring supercomputer smarts to mobile

Researchers at MIT have theoretically described a new artificial brain synapse, called Memristors which is capable of handling complex AI computing without any network connection. It is small, power-efficient, can remember and recall images in very high detail. Made by silicon, alloyed silver and copper, these can be combined in thousands on a chip. With minimal resource usage, Memristors, in future can make mobile phones work like today’s supercomputers.
