Samsung Plans to Update SmartThings in October to Support Matter

<p>For a completely integrated home, Samsung has received Matter certification. In order to support the new open-source smart home technology, the business will upgrade its SmartThings hubs this month. Samsung confirmed that the hubs would not allow the connection of Z-Wave and Zigbee devices to Matter devices. Jaeyeon Jung, in charge of the mobile experience business for SmartThings, claims that the company acquired its accreditation a week after Matter went live.</p>
