Telecoms Sector Wants Mexican Regulator to Embrace Wi-Fi 6

<p>Mexican homes and businesses are being denied a "historic" rise in internet speeds because the country's telecom regulator is taking too long to approve Wi-Fi 6 which is already operational in Brazil. Wi-Fi 6 is a part of a new wave of improvements that includes 5G technology and offers quicker connection rates and more capacity. It uses the 6 gigahertz (GHz) spectrum, which is the radio frequency range between 5925 and 7125 megahertz (MHz).</p>
