Texas files lawsuit against Facebook for misuse of facial recognition

<p>Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against Meta, the parent company of Facebook which would cost over billions in civil penalties. The lawsuit said that the company has misused facial recognition technology and violated the privacy regulations of the state. Paxton said that the company has used personal information for monetary gain and to grow its empire. He added that this is just one example of Big Tech&rsquo;s deceitful business practices.</p>
