Twitter launches Tor services to bypass Russian internet restrictions

<p>Twitter has launched a Tor service after it was blocked by the Russian government to operate in the country. Tor network veteran Alec Muffett is said to be the one behind the project. The new Tor version is built upon a toolkit developed by Alex. He said that Twitter&#39;s Tor version was in development since 2014 which was around the time Facebook released their own Tor version. This version is said to ease communication in and out of Russia and make information readily available.</p>
