6,000 jobs to be added by 5G, broadband outside of metro areas in July-Sept quarter

<p>The roll-out of 5G services by operators and a greater emphasis on internet penetration outside of urban areas are predicted to result in a 6000 job gain in the telecom sector during the current July-September quarter. According to research by hiring company TeamLease, the telecom sector experienced its highest attrition rate in six quarters during the April-June, at 8.87% compared to 7.88% during the January-March period.</p>
