Akasa Air Appoints Belson Coutinho as Chief Operating Officer

Akasa Air has appointed co-founder Belson Coutinho as Chief Operating Officer, effective January 6, 2025. With over 20 years of aviation experience, Coutinho will oversee Inflight Services, Airport Services, Maintenance & Engineering, Flight Operations, IOCC, Operational Excellence, and lead the Akasa Air Learning Academy. Previously serving as Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, he played a key role in the airline's rapid growth since its inception in 2022.
