Current hardware chief of Sony Masayasu Ito retires at 60, to be replaced by Lin Tao

<p>Sony&#39;s hardware chief Masayasu Ito, who is responsible for leading the engineering for both the PS4 and PS5 is retiring at 60 years of age. He also managed engineering study, design, and product strategy. The company&#39;s current director Lin Tao will take over his position. The new hardware chief also had experience designing for PlayStation before joining Sony in the year 1986.&nbsp;</p>
