Employees of Infosys Can Take on "Gig Employment" Outside of Company; But on Conditions

<p>Infosys would permit its staff to take on &quot;gig employment&quot; on the side, subject to certain restrictions. An employee has to take permission from Manager and HR. Infosys did not define this &quot;gig job&quot; or refer to it as &quot;moonlighting,&quot; the contentious practice of dual employment that has caused a significant uproar in the IT industry. Simply put, moonlighting is having a second job on top of your regular one without telling or getting permission from your existing employers.</p>
