Ex-Google CFO Patrick Pichette announced Twitter's board chairman
<p>Twitter Inc. has appointed ex-Google CFO Patrick Pichette as its board chairman replacing Omid Kordestani, who worked as company’s executive chairman for 5 years. Pichette had been Twitter's lead independent director since the end of 2018. He will now be on the firm’s financial matters, intending to increase its share prices. This marks the first time when an outsider will preside over the group. Kordestani will remain as a director. </p>
