FTX founder objects to tighter bail, says prosecutors ‘sandbagged’ him

<p>Sam Bankman-Fried has been free on $250 million bond since pleading not guilty to charges of fraud. Prosecutors asked that he not be allowed to talk with ex-colleagues or use encrypted messaging apps. Bankman&#39;s lawyers say prosecutors sandbagged bail process to put their client in worst possible light. The lawyers said their client&#39;s attempts to contact FTX were attempts to offer assistance. Judge Kaplan has given prosecutors until Monday to address the concerns.</p>
