HCL Technologies to double headcount in small towns

<p>HCL Technologies is planning to double its headcount in its centres in smaller towns like Lucknow, Nagpur, Madurai and Vijayawada over the next 2-3 years. The increased headcount will comprise of both new hires and existing employees moving back to hometowns. These centres already have close of 10,000 people. HCL had embarked on this strategy of opening large campuses in mini-metros towns in 2016 with an aim to stem attrition and enhance operations stability.</p>
