Manu Jain quits Xiaomi group after 9-year stint

<p>Xiaomi&#39;s Manu Jain led the India business for seven years and also held the global VP role. Xiaomi entered the Indian smartphone market in 2014. Xiaomi did not respond to a request for comment in December about Jain&rsquo;s impending departure.He has been pitching investors ideas for an EV startup for several months, people familiar with the matter said. Jain was supposed to be elevated to a higher global role but the firm changed its mind, sources said.</p>
