More IT Firms Might Adopt Infosys' Practise of Moonlighting

<p>More Indian IT companies may follow Infosys in allowing employees to take up &quot;gig work&quot; outside the company with prior approval as these businesses attempt to halt the tide of attrition and widespread moonlighting plaguing the $227 billion IT outsourcing industry. Top companies have been outspoken in their opposition to moonlighting, notably Wipro, which fired 300 employees after discovering they were working for numerous companies.</p>
