Netflix Founder and co-CEO Reed Hastings Steps Down
<p> </p> <p>Reed Hastings, co-founder, and CEO of Netflix, said on Thursday that he would leave the firm after more than 20 years. Hastings said in the statement, which was posted on the company's blog, that Netflix had prepared its next period of leadership "for many years," despite the fact that news of his leaving is shocking. Ted Sarandos, who has long been in charge of Netflix's content initiatives, was appointed co-CEO alongside Hastings in 2020.</p>
