SoftBank plans to eliminate 20% of its Vision Fund staff

<p>SoftBank Group Corp. plans to eliminate at least 20% of the workforce at its loss-making Vision Fund division. The Tokyo-based corporation will cut at least 100 jobs, and it could make the announcement as soon as this month. The operations in the US, UK, and China, which employ the most people, will be the main targets of the reduction. About 500 people worked for the Vision Fund unit, including workers from the Latin American funds.</p>
