Twitter in process of identifying an independent board director

<p>Microblogging site Twitter said that it was the process of selecting a new independent director for its board. The internet firm went on and said that board member Jesse Cohn, who is also hedge fund Elliott Management&rsquo;s head of U.S. equity activism, will be nominated for re-election as a Class II director.</p>
