Vonage CEO and president Alan Masarek joins Avaya

<p>Avaya has named Alan Masarek, a former Vonage Holdings executive director, as the company&#39;s president and CEO and a member of the board of directors with effect from August 1. Masarek most recently held the position of CEO of Vonage Holdings Corp., where he oversaw the business&#39;s transition from a VoIP-based home phone service to an international enterprise cloud communications company.</p>
